Ampthill is identified as a Major Service Centre in the emerging Core Strategy.We estimate that Ampthill will need to make provision for 250-500 new homes up to 2026, over and above existing sites with planning permission.
New jobs will also need to be created around the town.

This site is within the Conservation Area and therefore any new development would have to preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the area.
